Hello and welcome,

My name is Jack and I am excited to be here with you.

My vision is a world of authentic, empowered, expressed people with the power and responsibility to shape their lives and communities.

My job is to create the spaces, strategies, and advocacy to make this a reality.

It’s high time we found better ways of being together politically, decentralizing decision-making and giving people consequential voice.  Occasional elections and surveys are not sufficient for you to be really empowered, engaged and powerful in your civic life.

I work as an aDVOCATE, ORGANIZER, HOST and COACH.

We need to embrace the new tools of democracy: citizen assemblies, citizen-initiated ballots, deliberative polling, post-partisan dialogue, ranked choice voting and where appropriate direct e-voting. You being substantively consulted needs to be the norm, not a pipe dream. People-powered politics. And we need to embrace constitutional structures and policies which allow everyone to have meaningful participation, not just elites. If that takes constitutional renewal, reimagining of economic and political power, and you stepping up and claiming your civic power, I’m here for it.

I have a small, select private coaching clientele of leaders and high-impact individuals, and I periodically run group coaching programs. I am on the local steering group for ranked-choice voting and a member of Braver Angels, which is dedicated to relating across divides. I am part of the team exploring standing up a citizen’s assembly in Alexandria, VA.
